March 15, 2024 to April 30, 2025, about 5 million tons of diammonium phosphate and about 2 million tons of monoammonium phosphate. Volume was in line with CRU’s previous expectations.

A total of about 7 million tonnes is divided into three periods: January 1 to April 30, 2024, May 1 to September 30, 2024, and October 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025.

The second window period, from May 1 to September 30, 2024, is expected to see a significant number of exports, compared to relatively limited numbers in the first and third export Windows.

The phosphate export inspection will begin on March 15.

According to local sources, the inspection will take 1-2 weeks.

The exact monthly quota allocated to each phosphate producer was not disclosed.

CRU expects China’s exports in the first quarter to be relatively limited (about 300,000 tons of dia ammonium phosphate and 150,000 tons of mono Ammonium Phosphate) due to domestic demand for spring fertilizer applications.
